Second grade students recently welcomed Mr. Luis Calquin, a member of our community and an immigrant from Chile, following their CKLA unit on the history of immigration. Mr. Calquin generously shared his courageous personal journey, giving students a meaningful firsthand perspective that brought their learning to life. We are grateful for his time and willingness to inspire our young learners.
