Early literacy builds the foundation for academic achievement.
Davis School District’s Family Literacy Nights help families support children’s reading and learning from the earliest years through elementary school. Families will participate in hands-on activities, learn practical strategies and choose four sessions tailored to their child’s age, grade and learning needs.
Sessions are designed for children ages 0–3, ages 3–5, kindergarten and first grade, and second and third grade. Sessions will be offered in English and Spanish, with interpretation available in additional languages.

Antelope Allstars Weekly Newsletter | October 5–9 💙💛
What a fun Friday! We honestly aren’t sure who had more fun—the students or the staff! Our students had a blast celebrating by throwing water balloons at the admin, and there were plenty of laughs all around.
This celebration was earned because of YOU! Thanks to our amazing families and staff, we reached our PTA membership goal. Thank you for supporting our PTA and helping make fun experiences like this possible for our Allstars!
Be sure to check out this week’s newsletter for important dates, reminders, and everything happening at Antelope.

Antelope Allstars are excited to join students across Davis School District and throughout Utah for the Statewide Read-A-Thon! Students will spend one hour during the school day relaxing with a good book and celebrating the joy of reading.
To make it extra fun, students are invited to dress comfy for an hour of reading—sweats, hoodies, and cozy clothes are perfect, but no pajamas, please! 📖⭐
We hope families will keep the celebration going at home by reading together and talking about the books your child is enjoying.
Snuggle up with a good book—because every great adventure can start with a page! 💙💛📚

💙💛 WE NEED YOU! – ANTELOPE COMMUNITY COUNCIL 💛💙

📅 Our next meeting is October 8 at 3:45 PM, and I would LOVE to have a full council by then!
If you are interested, please fill out the form, and I will be in touch with you soon.

Due to the storm and an excess amount of water on the field, we will be moving our performance indoors.
Please bring your mini cheerleaders to the SMALL GYM. Look for your child's school name and cheerleaders from their clinics.
Spectators can take a seat on the bleachers. Students will be performing in the middle of the gym and once the performance is over, they will go back to their meeting spots. Parents can create a line for each school to pick up their child.
If you would like to brave the weather and attend the football game afterwards, you are more than welcome to!

They apologize and are not sure why the QR code is not working. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to jpool@dsdmail.net
Also, it is National Dot day tomorrow and we invite anyone to participate by wearing dots.

Here is the weekly newsletter! Thanks to all of our servicemen and women for all you do for our country. You are truly heroes.
