Congratulations to Mr. Riddle and Mrs. Flinders for being the Best of Davis of Davis winners! There are only a handful of teachers who win this award each year and these two teachers are definitely top notch! So happy and proud to call you SHARKS!



Shoreline attended the National History Day regional competition and did a wonderful job! Out of 10 projects submitted, eight are going to state and one earned the judges choice! They absolutely crushed it!

Spelling Bee! Thursday March 20th at 3:15 in the dance room! Winners will move on to district spelling bee. Prizes for all participants!


SHORELINE ACHIEVEMENT WEEK
This year Shoreline will be having an achievement week!
This is a great opportunity for students to show their academic progress and give teachers feedback about their learning.
We will be conducting our end-of-year testing from April 14-22.
--April 14th and 15th RISE English
--April 17th and 18th RISE Science and 9th-grade ASPIRE testing
--April 21st and 22nd RISE Math
--Eighth grade will be doing the RISE writing test from March 11th-18th.


Congratulations to all Shoreline Robotics teams who competed at State this weekend.
Hammerhead Sharks: Won the innovate award and were the Skills champion. They have a score of 404 in skills. This is a huge accomplishment!! Hammerhead Sharks qualified for a place in the World Championship in Dallas in two months!
Shark Tank: Won the Excellence Award at State. This is the highest award you can win. They also qualified for a place in the World Championships!!!
Cookie Cutter Sharks: Won the Think Award
Reaper Sharks: Won the Energy Award
Gummy Sharks: Won the Inspire Award
Spencer Worthen: Won student of the year award

The 7th and 8th grade civics classes went to the capital, they had the chance to visit with President Adams, got a tour from his assistant Olivia, visited with Representative Defay and visited with Gov. Cox speech writer.





Mrs. Williams is the District's Purple Star Praise Winner for the month of February for going above and beyond for Military students!


Our National Junior Honor Society was able to assemble 50 self-care buckets for the Layton High Teen Connection Center! We had a total of 180 items donated to our service project. We met and assembled the baskets in 15 minutes! These were delivered Friday, February 14th! Way to go!
